THE IRONWORKS IN THE HRON RIVER VALLEY AND THE COBURGS

Abstract


The letter deals with the beginning of ironworks in the Hron river valley starting from the 1440s up to now. Briefly is describing all the mines, ironworks and hamor in area of the Hron river. The role of Coburgs family is also described, as well as their affect on the improvement in the Hron river valley.
